The good news is that we have now been awarded a Facility Grant of just under £51k from Mid Sussex District Council. This is subject to us being able to raise the remaining funds within 12 months. If we can raise the remaining funds we may also receive a pledge of £7k from another Charitable Foundation. We have submitted other applications for funding but any contributions, no matter how small or large, would be gratefully appreciated.
The Beech Hurst Trustees have approved the establishment of the Learning Centre.
A Planning Application has been approved by Mid Sussex District Council for a small building of external area 60 m2 and internal display area of about 40 m2.
The Branch Line is now an independent legal entity, operated as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) approved by the Charity Commission – Registered Charity Number 1178407.
To build and establish this new facility, we are now at the fund raising stage. We need to raise funds of about £180,000. If you would like to donate funds towards this target, please see Support Us.
